TARGET
Dentro l'Italiano w.l.e. is meant for a wide range of possible users: independent students that, for work, or pleasure want to learn Italian as well as firms or schools that want to widen with innovative technologies their educational offer in the study of the Italian language.

OBJECTIVES
Dentro l'Italiano w.l.e offers a multilingual learning environment, with contents and services thought to facilitate the achievement of the linguistic competence defined by the standard of the Common European Framework.

CONTENT AND STRUCTURE
Dentro l'italiano w.l.e. is made up of A.M.I.C.A. and of didactic materials and services based on the most modern methodologies in the field of language teaching. Within the environment it is possible to consult the following areas and sections: Segreteria (syllabus , notice-board, agenda, photo-album of the participants, post-it, questionnaires, awards), Assistenza Tecnico Didattica (helpdesk, FAQ), Biblioteca (study materials, thematic resources, portfolio, methodology) Utilities, Collaborazione (mail, chat, moderated forum, free forum , audio/video conference, response pad, whiteboard, screen sharing), Amministrazione (registration, identification, course management, didactic monitoring).

Within the courses area it is possible to consult Dentro l'Italiano 4.0. This on-line course is meant to make users reach a level of linguistic autonomy both in the oral and written forms, as well as master basic and advanced Italian structures. Moreover, the users will be able to enter into contact with the Italian culture (food, art, music, fashion) thanks to the communicative approach of the course that provides a series of situations, videos and cultural contents. Inside the Biblioteca it is possible to find further cultural resources that guarantee a global approach to the Italian language and culture.

Didael e-learning professionals (technical/ teaching assistance, tutors, teachers, experts, authors) will help the user choose the most suitable learning approach. The versatility of the course allows as well the users to give suggestions, interact with other users and share a collaborative distance learning environment.

Dentro l'Italiano w.l.e. integrates services and functions of the e-learning environment A.M.I.C.A. and the e-content completely developed using the XML/XSL technology combined to Java.
